Image Nation is a limited liability company incorporated in Trinidad and Tobago which embraces the concept that real Trinidadian potential lies within the imagination to find creative solutions to improve the countrys future. As such Image Nation, whose core business is Trinidad style Carnival entertainment, uses the festival of the Carnival to highlight important environmental and other messages.
Image Nation produces modern, stylish, cutting edged costumes in as green a manner as possible. Recycling is a key component in all INs mas and over 50% of the costumes are made from post-consumer waste and production processes are in a continuous evolving state to be as green as possible.Natural and sustainable materials are also used in harmony with recycled papers, boards, plastics and metals. Found objects especially from nature are also included in the creation of aesthetically beautiful costumery.Image Nations people are also encouraged to be as eco-friendly as possible and the group engages in turtle watching, beach cleaning, plastic bottle recycling and the giving away of seeds and plants for propagation. Other eco-friendly projects are being developed.
